CHARITY &
SOCIAL WORK DONE DURING YEAR 2014 - 2015.
The various charity programs undertaken during the current year were as under:-
- 1. Distributed amongst warkaris of Sant Tukaram Palkhi at Govind Halwai Chowk - Tea with Toast in Steel Glasses (1000 Nos.) & Guradnis. A good attendance of members was witnessed at the Project site.
- 2. Distributed Sholpur Chadar (1000 Nos) near wallhe, Pune Dist. on 2nd July 2008.
- 3. Eye check up Camp held at Agrasen School Dattawadi. Distributed free medicines & specs. Operated for eye cataract free of cost.
- Free medical check up Camp held at Agrasen School Dattawadi on Agrasen Jayanti

- Morning breakfast and steel glasses were given to
Pilgrims going to Pandharpur.
- Free Health checkup camp organized at Agrasen Bhavan
on the occasion of Agrasen Jayanti.
- Sweaters were distributed to poor students of Ahire
Village.

Hindi Vidyalaya.

Medicines worth Rs. 4,000/- given to 'Shrivatsa', an Organation taking
care of orphans.

Karate dress worth Rs. 4,000/- given to disabled students of Kamayani
School.

Co-Organised Khatu Shyam Rathayathra program in Pune. Contributed
Rs. 11,000/-.

Co-Organised Ma Geeta Bharati's discourses on 'Bhagvad Geeta'. Contributed

Dear Friends,
You are all aware
that this year our club has selected Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose secondary
and higher secondary municipal school, Yerawada for our charity programme.
Here there are many areas where we can contribute our services to make
a qualitative difference in the learning and teaching experiences of the
students and teachers.

Computer lab.

Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs.

Desk, benches and blackboards.
-
Staff room facilities.
-
Restroom facilities and cleanliness.
-
Improving the overall environment
of the school etc.
-
As of now, our club has taken up
the task of fulfilling the requirements of the computer lab of this school.
Theschool is already having a full fledged computer lab which has ten new
brand computers received from zilla parishad and a couple of old computers
which require some repairing and up gradation to make them functional.
-
We feel very happy to announce that
our club has provided the school the required licensed software and a trainer
to train their teachers to conduct their further classes.

We have also conducted a computer
awareness seminar on the 13th
of this month by well known computer trainer Shri Jotindra Jhaveri in the
school hall.

Headmaster, all the teachers of the school (approximately 150), members
of our club ( Mrs. & Mr. Surinder Agarwal, Mrs. & Mr. Ashok
Singhal, Mrs & Mr Girish Khetan, Shri Parshuram Agarwal, Shri Mohan
Agarwal, Shri Amit Agarwal, Shri Kunj Tibrewal, & Shri Pradeep Singhal)
attended the two hour seminar.

We are now looking forward to try
and make their old computers functional. On behalf of our club I would
like to thank all our members for their strong support and specially Shri
Kunj Tibrewal and Shri Pradeep Singhal for guiding us in this project.

Eye Camp held at Yerwada Central Jail for women prisoners and distributed
medicines & spectacles.

Distributed games to mentally retarded children at Kamayani.

Donated color T.V. Set to the children's ward of Yerwada Central Jail
for educcation.

Held Diabeties detection & education camp at Jewel's Art Gallery
by Dr. Sanjay Agarwal.

Distributed medicines & Sweets to cancer patients through 'Care
India ' and Chief Guest was well known actor Sashi Kapoor.

Medicines given to 'Shri Vasta ' in Sasoon General Hospital for babies.

Contributed Rs. 11,000/- for Samuhik Vivaha to Agarwal Seva Samiti.

Donated 25 cupboards at Niwara Old Age Home.

Sponsored one year's expenses for two students Rs. 12,000/- at Jagruti
Andh Kanya Vidyalaya, Alandi.

Donated 25 crutches and 10 calipers and gave lunch at Physically Handicapped
School. Wanowrie.
